My name is Alex W. N. Riasanovsky (he/him/his). In Summer 2021, I was a researcher working with Maria Axenovich in the Institute for Algebra and Geometry at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
In May 2021, I received my PhD in the Department of Mathematics at Iowa State University under the advising of Ryan Martin. I also received a BA in mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. My research interests include extremal and probabilistic combinatorics, graph coloring, and combinatorial limit theory.
From Fall 2019 through Summer 2020, I was supported by NSF award DMS-1839918 (RTG) at Iowa State University.
In Spring 2019, I was a Long-Term Visitor of Daniel Kráľ under European Research Council Consolidator Grant on Large Discrete Structures. I was also supported by the ISU Department of Mathematics Lambert Research Award at this time.
